Dr. Michael G. Richmond

Professor of Chemistry





My research interests include: Ligand substitution processes in metal clusters, inorganic photochemistry and photocatalysis, redox catalysis, inorganic reaction mechanisms, thermal catalysis using CO, CO2, SO2, and alkanes as chemical feedstocks.





ORGANIC AND ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY

Dr. Richmond received his B.S. from the State University of New York, Fredonia in 1979 and his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in 1983. Dr. Richmond was a postdoctoral fellow from 1983-1984 at Indiana University/University of Houston and a visiting assistant professor at the University of Houston from 1984-1986. Dr. Richmond joined the UNT faculty in 1986.
