Dr. Stockland received his B.S. in 1994 from St. Cloud State University and his Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. From 1999-2000 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Iowa and the University of Chicago. In the fall of 2000, Dr. Stockland joined the faculty at Bucknell University where he was tenured in 2006. Dr. Stockland joined the UNT faculty in the fall of 2007.
