Course Material: Text: Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry; (Skoog/West/Holler); 7th ed. This course covers Chapters 1 thru 33 and selected topics.

Homework: Homework will be assigned from the problems at the end of each chapter. The due date for each homework assignment will be one week from the assignment date.

Exams: There will be a midterm and a final exam. Also there will be quizzes given through WebCT periodically.

*Absolutely no make-up exams will be given without a signed physician's note.

Grading: Exams, quizzes, and homeworks will each be assigned a total point value. The students final grade will be: (the total number of points received/total number of points possible) x 100.

Guaranteed Course Grade:

A - 90%
B - 80%
C - 70%
D - 60%
F < 60%

(a) According to University policy, the grade of I (incomplete) cannot be given as a substitute for a failing grade in a course.
