New Chemistry Building

We dedicate this page to the new University of North Texas Chemistry Building, currently under construction on the corner of Avenue C and Mulberry, between the Environmental Education, Science and Technology Building (EESAT) and the Science Research Building (SRB) ).

Phase I opened in Fall, 2004.

Want a future glimpse?

You may view the architects' presentation (must be viewed in Netscape) provided by Omniplan, architects for the building. Austin Commercial is the general contractor for the project. If you do not have Netscape, you may view the pictures from this link. Earl Walls Associates are the laboratory design consultants for the project.

Want to contribute?

Invest in your legacy! Check out how you can by following this link.

Want to see historical snapshots of the construction?

You may view a directory containing pictures saved during the project. The pictures are labeled YYYYMMDDHHIISS.jpg where YYYY corresponds to the year, MM corresponds to the Month, DD corresponds to the Day, HH corresponds to the hour (24 hour format), II corrsponds to the minute, and SS corresponds to the second when the server saved the camera image. This funny notation enables us to keep the pictures chronologically ordered and more-easily manipulated.
