Areas of Expertise:

Gas-phase chemical kinetics, with emphasis on the isolation of radical reactions and the measurement of the rate constants over wide ranges of temperature by means of time-resolved spectroscopy and fast-flow techniques. The results are interpreted in the light of dynamical theories and ab initio information about potential energy surfaces, obtained using computational quantum chemistry.
